While Islands is undoubtedly one of Roblox's most beloved titles, given the tens of thousands of users playing on a daily basis, Easy.gg, the studio in charge of its development, is not skimping on the new content to bring to its title in order to satisfy an ever more demanding community.
It is, among other things, for this reason that a major update, soberly called Factory, has just been deployed on the servers of Islands. The latter brings new minerals, extraction tools, molds and objects of all kinds. In addition, a new islet, on which resources can be found, will be available near your main island. Of course, these resources can be exploited by means of a block which will reappear only every 24 hours, in real time.

Current resource islands are for copper (and you will only be able to have a maximum of two copper islands). New types of islands will be added over time.
- Copper ore.
- Steel.
- Drill.
- Steelworks.
- Press for steel.
- Copper press
- Addition of molds used by presses in factories.
- Steel and copper bolts, plates and rods.
- Gearbox.
- Steel rods now require steel (instead of iron and coal before).
- Merchant mechanic who buy items produced in factories.
- The spawn rate of rocks containing gold has increased, and more gold can be found with them.
- Weapons display (via the Workbench).
- Aquariums (via the Workbench).
- Added 4 aquarium decoration blueprints found while fishing or collecting coral.
- The price of berries has been lowered.
- Bug fixes and performance improvements.
